ABOUT
Galerie Muse was conceived on the bay on the bay in Monterey, CA as a stage to bring fine contemporary art to Santa Cruz locals and seasonal travelers in Capitola Village.

A collective of art purveyors began to gather every 3rd Friday to celebrate a featured artist highlighting original works with extraordinary and innovative artists.It is out of that experience that Pamela Weeks is engaging some of the most poignant works of that time to share with our Sarasota, Florida community.

At the core is a passion for art that moves and transforms space as a necessary element of vitality in our lives. Her joy is to bring that same vision with fresh perspective to the authentic erudite art lover of Sarasota.​​

THE ARTIST
Howard Lamar, a Santa Barbara California Artist, has spent 45 years perfecting his mastery of the influences of the French Modernist movement. His esoteric and universal style has been celebrated by discriminating collectors around the world, most notably the Japanese Imperial Collection and the Microsoft Alumni Foundation.
Lamar’s unique trademark language of icons according to collector Lee Caplin, author of "The Business of Art," stated that “Lamar’s paintings go to the heart of both intellect and fantasy combining some of the emotion and color elements of a Marc Chagall with the absolute flights of whimsy of a Raul Dufy, Lamar has created a unique artistic vision.
Unlike his historic kin, Lamar developed a distinctive vocabulary he uses to express himself, a vocabulary his collectors learn to anticipate.
